 Meet the Founder
Gary Logie has years of experience as a senior financial manager for both entrepreneurs and Fortune 1000 companies. Prior to launching Logie CPA, he was the chief financial officer of Software Spectrum, a large account reseller of software with over $2 billion in annual revenue and 2,000 employees.
Beginning his career in public accounting as an auditor with a Big Four accounting firm, Mr. Logie eventually worked his way up to senior manager in the firm's Transactions Services Advisory Group. In that position, he worked with countless corporate and private equity firms across the technology, manufacturing, and distribution sectors, providing advice and analysis on acquisitions strategies and due diligence.
Mr. Logie has also been an entrepreneur, starting and managing a sales and marketing company that was recognized by the American Marketing Association for pioneering innovative opportunities for professionals to reach their target markets.

Meet Gary
Gary Logie ‘retired’ from corporate America in 2003 being able to say that he, at the age of forty, had done it all. “I wanted to go on my own. I wanted to decide what color to paint my office without a committee. I wanted to shut the office and watch my kids soccer game without getting permission. I wanted to be my own boss, again! Most of all, I wanted to share my lessons with other people.”
Gary is an America citizen with a funny accent. He was born in South Africa and has practiced as an accountant in the Sub-continent, Cayman Islands, Miami, Boston and Dallas. His resume includes Chief Financial Officer of two companies ranging in size from twenty Million to two Billion in revenue. He has started and grown a marketing and adverting agency from nothing to one million in net commissions / revenue.

Gary’s practice is centrally located on Cape Cod in Hyannis. The practice addresses the ongoing changes in all matters money related as faced by young families, retirees and closely-held business. Logie CPA focuses on a bottoms-up approach by offering tax, estate and business planning while also offering payroll services, bookkeeping and tax preparation.
Gary is a Certified Public Accountant and has a Masters in Business Administration from Manchester Business School [UK]. He is married and the proud father of three teenage boys. He owns rental real estate both locally and internationally, serves on the Board of Directors for a vacation rental agency and watches his retirement accounts, college savings accounts and all other investments like a hawk. “It is my money. I worked hard for it. I am gonna keep it.” Gary is also active in the community having served on the Board of Directors of the Harwich Little League and Cape Cod Conservatory. He likes to ski, run and travel and travel and travel . . .
