Gary Logie is the Firm’s Founder and lead professional. He has over 20 years of senior financial management experience in both entrepreneurial and Fortune 1000 environments. Prior to joining Fortman Logie, Mr. Logie was the Chief Financial Officer of Software Spectrum, a large account reseller of software products serving the Global Fortune 500 with over $2 billion in annual revenues.

He began his career in public accounting as an auditor with a Big 4 accounting firm eventually becoming Senior Manager in the firm’s Transactions Services Advisory Group. As Senior Manager, he advised corporate and private equity firms on acquisition strategy and due diligence across the technology, manufacturing and distribution sectors.

Mr. Logie has also been an entrepreneur, starting and managing a sales and, marketing company that was recognized by the American Marketing Association for pioneering innovative opportunities for professionals to reach their target market.

Mr. Logie permanently moved to Cape Cod in 2002, where he summered for many years and is now raising 3 young boys with his wife Joanne. He became involved full time with Fortman Logie in early 2003. He is both a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Accountant. Mr. Logie also has a Masters in Business Administration from Manchester Business School in the United Kingdom.
